The one and only Queen of Hip-Hop Nicki Minaj has now officially announced the dates of her 2024 world tour, Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour. Her fans, The Barbz, have been eagerly anticipating her live return with headline arena concerts in North America and Europe. This includes festival appearances at Rolling Loud California and more to be announced. Minaj previously shared the news of the tour on social media, announcing it alongside the release of her new album "Pink Friday 2", which is available everywhere now.

Nicki Minaj has been setting the tone in music, fashion and beauty for more than a decade - making history and building her personal superstar brand in the process. Minaj became "the first woman to score 100 Billboard Hot 100 hits", with an astonishing total of 133 tracks (the most among female hip-hop acts). This includes three number 1 hits, over 70 top 40 hits (also a record among female hip-hop acts) and 23 top 10 hits (another record among female hip-hop acts). As a songwriter, she also holds the record for the "most Billboard Hot 100 entries among women in the 2010s". Her breakthrough hit "Super Bass" surpassed the 1 billion YouTube views mark, making it an absolute record-breaker alongside hits like "Anaconda". This makes her the first female rapper to break the record with several solo tracks.

Nicki's rise can be traced back to their groundbreaking debut "Pink Friday" from 2010. It sold over 375,000 copies in its first week, according to MRC Data. Right from the start, the album marked the biggest sales week for a female hip-hop artist since Lauryn Hill in 1998.

Minaj accelerated her unprecedented momentum in the 2020s, with which she made history. In 2021, "Beam Me Up Scotty" stormed to the top of the charts as "the best-selling female rap mixtape in Billboard 200 history". Not to mention, "Super Bass" became her first RIAA diamond-certified single. In 2022, "Super Freaky Girl" impressively debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it "the first solo song by a female rapper to land at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this century." Among other firsts, she is also "the rapper with the most solo albums in Billboard 200 history, the most top 10 albums in Billboard 200 history", "the most honored female rapper at the American Music Awards" and "the first female rapper with over 30 billion Spotify streams".
