I think the Cupertino charge is a scam. It doesn’t match my other charges or my active subscriptions! It’s worth doing a little digging!

Hello Twinkletoes27,
If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement you can learn how to find out what you were charged for here: If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support
These steps may help:
How to see what you were charged for
1. To see your purchase history, go toreportaproblem.apple.com.
2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
3. A list of purchases appears. To see family members' purchases, select the Apple ID button and choose a family member.
4. To see the full receipt including tax, tap or click the date. Multiple purchases, including subscriptions, might be grouped onto one charge.
If the charge is for a subscription that you no longer want, you cancancel the subscription.
Thanks.

Is this just where u just talk about getting two charges for $5.40 six times in a month on a brand new card, for a subscription that doesn’t show in your Apple subscriptions. Cause I don’t see where the answers are. I need solutions

FRAUDULENT CHARGES.
You can search your purchase history through your apple account and you will not find any charges in the amounts taken from your account from: APPLE COM BILL ONE APPLE PARK WAY CUPERTINOCA.

Try reading the Support article and checking your purchase history.
As for why you'd receive a bill on a different day than a purchase – there's often a delay for purchases that you make through the App Store or the iTunes Store. I think Apple tries to see if there are chances to group several small purchases onto one bill. So a bill might be delayed until you make a second purchase, or until they figure that you aren't going to make one soon.

If you subscribe to several services, or make scattered purchases, you may get several bills per month.
I normally get one "APPLE.COM/BILL" charge for Apple Music, and another for iCloud+.
Apple sends me e-mails ("Your receipt from Apple") telling me why they're charging my card and for how much. My credit card statement might tell me that Apple billed me $11.76, while the e-mail receipt spells out that Apple charged me $10.99 for Apple Music Subscription (Monthly) and $0.77 for tax.

Also be aware for signs that your Apple ID has been compromised. One of the signs is "purchase activity you don't recognize."

Then review your purchase history, as outlined in the Support article. If you can't identify the charge, contact Apple, also as outlined in the Support article. If that doesn't clear things up, contact your bank – in case the charge is from scammers who are trying to impersonate Apple in hopes that this will improve their chances of getting away with it.

Assuming that the charges are legitimate …
- "apple.com/bill" is not the name of a person, it's a reference to the fact that you're receiving a bill from Apple (whose main Internet domain is apple.com).
- Cupertino CA might be shown as the location of the charge because Apple's headquarters are located in the city of Cupertino, CA (California), in the United States.
- The charges may be for various things, such as iCloud+, Apple Music subscriptions, Apple TV+ subscriptions, purchases from the App Store and iTunes Store, and "in-app" purchases (from third-party app vendors, billed through the App Store).
- Usually Apple will send you separate e-mails itemizing the charges in more detail. I believe that you can shut off some of those e-mails, but I prefer to receive them.
- Sometimes in the case of things like iTunes Store and App Store purchases, there may be a delay between the time you buy the first small item, and the time you get a bill. (Apple may do things like waiting a little bit to see whether you're going to buy more things, so they can put them all on one bill, instead of on separate tiny ones.)
For further information:
If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support
Basically,
- Check your purchase history, to see if you can match the charge to something that Apple sent you mail about, or included in your online purchase history.
- If you have trouble finding a match, contact Apple.
- If after carrying out steps #1 and #2, it appears that the charge is illegitimate (e.g., is not from Apple, but from some fraudster), contact your bank, explain the situation, and dispute the charge.
