Am I a Demigod?
Having some doubts about being fully mortal? Do you think you're a Demigod? Bellow are some signs to help you be for sure! Enjoy!:)
Demigod definition: a being with partial or lesser divine status, such as a minor deity, the offspring of a god and a mortal
The Signs1. ADHDA well known sign of being a demigod is having and being diagnosed with ADHD. So what is ADHD? ADHD is: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or A chronic condition including attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness.
2. you dont need to have this d is having dyslexia. However, not all demigods have it. Dyslexia is: a general term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters, and other symbols, but that do not affect general intelligence.
3. You suspect that one or more of your teachers is not humanDemigods are often trailed by monsters, thus, a monster becoming one of your teachers is one way for them to get at you. Again, I'm not saying that this sign hold true for every demigod out there, but it's a possibility...
4. You see things others don't...Another common sign of being a demigod, is having weird thing happen around you that other might not see and or pay attention to. It doesn't have to be something huge like seeing a minotaur. Things it might be are like hearing shots or explosions that you can't explain, or an adult acting in a weird way that they may deny later. Remember, little things count...
5. You sometimes wonder if one of your parents is actually you biological parentThis is a BIG one. This determines if you actually are a demigod or not. If of course, one of your "parents" is not you mom or dad, then instead you would have a godly parent. It most likely is a goddess if you suspect your mother isn't your true mom, and same for dad, BUT as we see with Alex Fierro in magnus chase, sometimes your godly parent can be the same gender as your mortal parent so dont rule that option out.
6. You have a friend that doesn't seem normalAt mortal schools, there are usually one or more satyrs there to protect the demigods that might be there.Usually, they try to hide their horns with big hair or hats. (remember this doesn't apply to female satyrs.) They also will NEVER wear shorts to hide their goat legs.They also will eat almost ANYTHING.
7. You often feel like someone is watching youThis could just be caused by nerves, but sometimes, it is caused by monsters or other evil creatures watching you.
8. Lastly, you have an irrational fear that you can't explainThis would be things like spiders. Athena's kids, like annabeth, hate and fear spiders, just like their mother. These fears can help you sort out who your godly parent is.
So I'm a demigod, who's my parent?
Below I will list the qualities of the children of the twelve olympian gods (and hades)(NOT INCLUDING ARTEMIS, SHE'S A VIRGIN GODDESS), including their fears, hobbies, and possible powers.
Zeus kids: Zeus kids, like their father, fear almost nothing. Their one fear, however, is the fear of night. Zeus kids like/ feel a connection to stormy weather. They like to be up in the air and are not afraid of heights. Zeus kids are really good at sports and tend to have superhuman strength, and speed, they also have mild control over weather and wind.
Hera kids: Hera, who is the goddess of marriage does not have any children because she only ever has children with Zeus. It is important to note that sometimes Hera claims children of Zeus lives for her own.
Athena kids: Athena kids biggest fear is spiders. They also fear, failing tests, and not knowing the answer to important questions. Athena kids LOVE to read. They also tend to have hobbies that take either a strong imagination or a lot of thought. To a child of athena, a challenge is fun! Their powers might be being AMAZING at planning and being a pure genius.
Apollo kids: Apollo kids are afraid of losing the ones that they love the most. This can be family, pets, romantic lovers, and anything or anyone else you love. Apollo kids love to sing and or write poetry and compose. Some of their powers might be being able to draw people in with their voices or being talented in archery.
Poseidon kids: Poseidon kids fear being in the air or skyborne in any way. They often fear the wrath of people superior to them as well. Poseidon kids LOVE to swim, and to be fair, anything to do with water! They love the ocean and all natural bodies of water. Some of their powers may be mild control over water and having an amazing relationship with horses and sea creatures.
Ares kids: Some of Are's kids fears are: not being strong enough or failing in combat. They also fear people who do better than them. Ares kids are hot headed, and also have a knack for making people around them mad and or irritated. some powers ares kids have are: superhuman strength and speed, They excel in most types of combat, and are terrific leaders (usually.) some of their hobbies are, any type of fighting, watching violent things, or listening to violent music, and arguing
Demeter kids: Demeter kids often fear death, darkness, and the underworld. Often times they are suspicious of the opposite gender (but not always.) Demeter kids love to garden and cook with herbs. They feel a connection to the earth and feel happy in natural spaces. Demeter kids powers are: Having an unnaturally great green thumb (being naturally good in the garden.), they also are really good at reviving plants that are on the brink of death. Demeter kids also have mild control over the weather, and can make people hungry. (they're good cooks!)
Aphrodite kids: Aphrodite kids fear thing like: not finding love, that people said they care about them don't, and sometimes doubt their beauty. However, aphrodite kids are VERY pretty, and have the power to convince people to do almost anything. They are also REALLY good at reading people's emotions, and know just what to do to make others happy! Not to mention Aphrodite kids are really good at love magic...
Dionysus kids: Dionysus kids tend to fear: running out of things to drink, and not having enough free time to party and have fun! Dionysus kids hobbies are chilling with a nice drink, partying, and Theater (acting, singing, dancing, etc.) Their powers may be to throw amazing parties, and being talented in drama.
Hermes kids: Hermes kids fear, their parents (out of a kind of respect.) They also fear getting caught while planning their best trick ever or stealing in some cases. Hermes kids enjoy all forms of communication, pranks, and sometimes stealing. Their powers are being very cunning and sneaky. They also excel in gossip, if that counts...
Hephaestus kids: Hephaestus kids are usually afraid of being laughed at by others, and their priceless inventions breaking. Some of their hobbies are building, inventing, and doing any kind of craft. They are also very drawn to fire, and a select few have some control over it.
Hades kids: Hades kids fear being open with others and letting people into their heart. They fear that the people they love most will betray them. Most of them have hard lives ( but some don't.) Their hobbies are hanging with animals, going for runs, walks, or drives alone, and pretty much anything that they enjoy doing ALONE. Some of their powers may be: releasing troubled spirits from dead bodies, and talking to/ seeing ghosts and spirits. Two more that aren't really powers per say, are handling death very well, and the ability to make people miserable if the want.
